The Golden Thread Gallery has launched an online platform to showcase the work that local artists have for sale at present.

With museums, galleries and shops closed at present and with exhibitions and art fairs cancelled throughout the current crisis the Belfast-based gallery decided that it needed to create a way for artists to be able to put their work on show.

They are encouraging local visual artists to send them an image of their work, together with a link to their website or retail platform as well as social media platforms.

Each work will be showcased to help the visual artists survive what has been a very tough year, and coming at a time when local, fantastic art would make a perfect gift, as well as supporting our talented creators.
