Moving on Music and Belfast City Council have teamed up to offer two music residencies at the Centre Cultural Irlandais in Paris.

The month-long residencies will take place between September 2021 and June 2022, working to the applicant’s schedule.

One residency is for a musician based in Belfast city, and the other is for a musician/composer from or based, anywhere in Northern Ireland.
The residency covers travel and accommodation in the Centre Culturel Irlandais as well as a stipend of €750 for the month.

Applications opened Thursday 12th November and close on 12th January 2021, with successful candidates notified at the beginning of March.
The opportunity presents artists who have been unable to travel or perform lately and offer some much-needed space to create new work, explore ideas and network in an amazing city.

The application process is pretty straightforward, and will allow applicant to explain why they should be chosen.

The Centre Cultural Irlandais is based in Paris’ Latin Quarter and was established to promote Irish Culture – north and south – across France.
