Gallery 545’s Group Exhibition is moving from the virtual world to become a three-day pop-up at its Blick Studios on Belfast’s Malone Road from December 18-20.
The show was previously available only online, but now visitors can enjoy it in person and view unique artworks created by several accomplished artists living and working in Northern Ireland.
Gallery 545 Group Exhibition celebrates their talent showcasing a curated selection of diverse artworks encompassing atmospheric pieces inspired by landscapes, vibrant abstract paintings, fascinating portraits and exquisite works on paper.
All the exhibiting artists are represented by Gallery 545, an online and pop-up gallery specialising in contemporary art of Northern Ireland. They are: Lisa Ballard, Alacoque Davey, Ray Duncan, Craig Donald, Wendy Ferguson, Karl Hagan, Elham Hemmat, Trina Hobson, Ashely B Holmes, Janet Keith, Rachel Lawell, Aimee Melaugh, Rosie McGurran, Kevin Miller, Noel Murphy, Latisha Reihill, Katherine St Angelo, Charlie Scott and Anushiya Sundaralingam.
Francesca Biondi, Gallery 545 Art Director, said it was good to bring the exhibition to the real world.
“I am excited to host Gallery 545 Group Exhibition at Blick Studios in Belfast,” she said. 2Many wonderful artworks are on display in this beautiful historical building.
“This three-day pop-up is a truly special event to celebrate the artists and the re-opening of the galleries, and to welcome visitors back to our premises…and indeed a happy occasion to mark this festive season.”
Artworks can be viewed and purchased at the pop-up and also online at gallery545.com. The online group show also includes a work by Ronan Bowes.
No booking is required to visit the exhibition. The safety of staff, visitors and artists is the gallery’s priority and for this reason, the number of people allowed at the same time in the exhibition space limited to six, and we have other specific safety measures in place because of Covid-19.
