Portaferry native Ryan McMullan will return to the iconic Ulster Hall for two nights on July 16 and 17, the first performance to take place in the venue since March 2020.
As one of Northern Ireland’s most exciting new talents, Ryan was first welcomed by the Ulster Hall back in December 2020 for the digital entertainment experience Live from the Ulster Hall. Now, Ryan will have the opportunity to play in front of a live audience for the first time in 15 months at what he considers “the Mecca for Northern Irish venues”.
To adhere to government guidelines, Ryan’s Ulster Hall show will have physically distanced seating, with tickets available to purchase in bubbles of two and four, with limited single tickets available.
Having gotten his start by touring local pubs for many years, his unique voice reminiscent of other incredible singer-songwriters such as Paolo Nutini and an early Tom Waits, Ryan soon gained the attention of some of the music industry’s biggest names.
Ryan has supported the likes of internationally renowned artists like Snow Patrol and Ed Sheeran across the globe, and collaborating with homegrown talent such as Beoga and the Ulster Orchestra, he will take to the stage this time as a headline act.
Over the last few years, Ryan McMullan has been making a name for himself as a gifted singer-songwriter. 2019 was a standout year for Ryan with the success of his single ‘
Rebellion, and Make A Mark.
Alongside Cyprus Avenue Productions and Fine Point Films, Ryan will also star in a film that will document his musical career that is due for release later in the year, alongside a mixtape of songs that were never intended for public release.
Ryan will also be hitting the road across the UK and Ireland after a year of uncertainty this Autumn. Starting in the Millenium Forum in Derry/Londonderry in September, the singer-songwriter will be bringing his live show to venues across the isles before finishing with two nights in the prestigious Waterfront Hall.
With the release of the documentary, his upcoming UK and Ireland tour later this year, and with new music on the way, don’t miss your chance to catch this rising star at the Ulster Hall this July.
