Close your eyes and pretend you’re in Ronnie Scott’s, London as you inject some culture into your Saturday night with the Scott Flanigan Trio live stream. Oozing class and sophistication the trio features Scott Flannigan, one of the foremost keyboard players on the Irish Jazz scene, renowned bassist Dave Redmond and seminal drummer Kevin Brady.

Having shared the stage with the likes of Van Morrison and the Uster Orchestra as well as Jazz heavyweights Rob Luft, Ant Law, Jim Mullen, Jean Toussaint and Dave O’Higgins, Flanigan is a master of his craft and the trio perform with a beautiful synergy.

Described by London Jazz News as ‘Elegant and technically assured’ Flanigan is a recognised composer with commissions from the likes of Moving On Music and the PRS foundation and is just as at home in academia as he is on the stage. Scott received his BMus degree from Ulster University and his MMus in Jazz Performance from the Dublin Institute of Technology. He is currently working on a Ph.D in Jazz Performance at Ulster University, where he is researching, analysing, and synthesising contemporary trends in jazz piano.

An in-demand teacher of jazz harmony and improvisation Scott has delivered workshops across the United Kingdom and maintains a busy teaching schedule at home in Belfast.

The live stream, which lasts for just over an hour will deliver a mix of standards, classics and new material. The gig takes place on Saturday 13th March and costs £15 per device. It will be steamed live over YouTube. Once you pay for your ticket the gig will be available to watch for one week after the show. To book tickets or for more information visit
