A 15 minute love-story told in two parts by a 28 strong cast of young people. The storytelling is in the Kids in Control physical theatre style, including, dance elements and visually impactful physical imagery.
The event content has been chosen by the young people in the project who identify with progressive and inclusive trends in the life of the city. The young people also identify with the Arts Matter NI campaign and efforts to highlight the cuts to public funding for the arts in Northern Ireland. The group is a diverse mix of abilities and backgrounds, including young people with learning disabilities. The group is supported by a very experienced Creative Support Team, a Welfare Officer and a core team of trained volunteers. Families of the group members will be in attendance to support efforts by the young people to engage the interest of the general public in the efforts of the Arts Matter NI campaign.
