The Linen Quarter is one of the most historic areas of Belfast, and these tours, organised in association with Better Bedford Street, help tell its fascinating story.

Starting at Linenopolis (Bedford House) at 12.15 the tours take in a dozen iconic stops, including the Grand Central Hotel, Ulster Hall, Thomas Thompson Memorial Fountain, BBC, City Hall, Ormeau Baths, Limelight, Armagh House, St Malachi’s Church, 10 Square, Ulster Newsletter, and Linenopolis. Covering 200 years of history the tour will reveal insightful facts about the people and place of the Linen Quarter, as well as its historical impact and its contemporary plans.

The tour will end at 1.30pm at Linenopolis, which highlights further aspects of the Linen Quarter story, and features products from 33 Linen makers from across Ireland.
