Irish dance performed in both light and heavy shoes

As a traditional Festival Irish Dance School, Bentra’s Dancers are all dance, no frills. They do not wear wigs, tiaras or fake tan and are taught to a very high standard in both performance work and competitions. Many progress from Beginners up to Senior Level and qualify in prestigious competitions such as Ulster/All Ireland and World Championships.

The performance group recently provided a warm welcome for a global audience at The World Aviation Conference Awards Ceremony held in the Titanic Exhibition Centre. They also had the wonderful opportunity to perform at a first “Sail Away” in September 2017 for the Princess Cruise Line in Belfast. With prior permission from the Dance School, the event was recorded by Belfast Harbour Commissioners and posted on Belfast Harbour Facebook page, attracting 5.9K views. The girls are ambassadors for Belfast and Northern Ireland, representing traditional Irish culture and the very best of what this City has to offer.
