The beauty of art amid the horror of war

During World War II, Fr Patrick Kelly’s dedicated his ministry to saving lives as well as souls. Amid the terror of the Nazi occupation of South West France, his secret work for The Service helped many escape to the safety of Spain.

And as he struggles with the guilt of not having been able to save many others, his conversations with a remarkable piece of art help him to come to terms with the horrors that he survived while others died.
